At 6:30 pm there will be a dessert reception at the Rosenbloom Owings Mills JCC. Immediately following, will be a screening of the movie "Nina's Home", next door at the Gordon Center for Performing Arts. After the film, there will be a guest speaker and discussion.

Nina is the ingenious and loving director of a children's shelter at the end of WWII in France. The children, whose families from Salonika have vanished, find warmth and hope with Nina. Then suddenly, the arrival of young survivors from concentration camps creates total chaos. The newcomers have their own found culture of survival. They fight, and speak other languages. The story of how, with Nina's help, the children manage to adjust and accept each other while dealing with their deep differences is unforgettable.
