Thu 1 May. Opening Sunday, February 24, 2008: The Jewish Museum of Maryland is collecting photographs of men and women in their World War II armed services uniforms. These photos may be included on the "Wall of Honor" that will be displayed as part of the upcoming exhibition, Ours To Fight For: American Jews in the Second World War. This award-winning exhibition, on loan to the JMM from the Museum of Jewish Heritage in New York, will open at the Museum in February 2008, and will remain on display through July 2008. A Radio Re-Creation of The Goldbergs and Abby's Irish Rose Sunday, May 4 3:30-5:00 p.m. Join Baltimore early TV personality, Royal Parker along with Gene Leitner, and The Golden Radio Buffs of Maryland for a rousing re-creation of The Goldbergs and Abby's Irish Rose , two Jewish themed popular radio show that aired from the 1920s through the '50s. These radio broadcasts will be recreated at the Museum complete with commercials by some of Baltimore 's liveliest performing personalities.
