New JCC Chess Club

Thu 4 Sep. Thursdays, 10 am-12 noon, beginning Sept. 4 All skill levels are welcome. Chess is a recreational and competitive game. It stimulates the mind and keeps those competitive juices going. Jim Horton loves to play and teach chess, and will help beginners. Tony Miller has been teaching chess for over 30 years and has been Ventura Chess Club Champion for 9 consecutive years, and will work with more advanced players.
