Part I of this series will discuss the origins and the authority of the Supreme Court as well as the power of judicial review to declare unconstitutional the acts of other branches of the Federal government and of the state governments. Part II will continue the discussion of judicial review and the role of the Supreme Court in contemporary America. Discussion of landmark cases will be included in this series.
