Sunday, August 23rd - Film This 1938 musical comedy embraces Jewish life in Lodz in all its diversity – with tenements and unemployed Jews, nightclubs and gangsters, and religious Jews celebrating Sukkos. Molly Picon stars as a young woman who promises her dying mother that she will care for her family.
