Honorees Dr. Saul Wachs, Professor of Education and Liturgy Dr. Wachs is a beloved scholar of Jewish education and Jewish music. His areas of special research include Jewish spirituality, prayer and liturgy. He has lectured in almost 400 communities on five continents. Saul has been a key member of the Gratz College Faculty for 35 years. Dr. Wachs is the Rosaline B. Feinstein Professor of Education and Liturgy and Chair of the Education Department at Gratz College and is also the Director of the Ed.D. program. Saul and his family live in Wynnewood and ar

David Solomon, a Gratz alumnus, received a Master’s degree from Tel Aviv University. An accomplished businessman and entrepreneur, David understands the importance of a Jewish education in shaping the lives of our community leaders. He has been a passionate advocate of numerous Jewish causes and initiatives locally, nationally and in Israel. He is an active member of the Real Estate Committee and The Institute for Leadership Development at Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia.
