There will be music, tales and information about the roles of Jews during the Civil War. Our scholars will discuss what life was like during the war, both in the Union and the Confederacy. Part of the event is a review of "All Other Nights", Dara Horn's novel of Jews during this time. On Friday evening during services, we will experience tales and tunes from this era. On Saturday evening, we will experience a multi-media presentation that will take us back to the battlefields of our nation's bloodiest war.
