www. Enjoy a leisurely 2.5 mile Turkey Creek Trail dog-friendly hike near City Park - "near" meaning FREE, before entering the park. Emma Long Park is the oldest city park in Austin, located along Lake Austin with a vast surrounding green belt. After the hike, we will have snacks at SKI Shores restaurant, also dog friendly.
WHAT to BRING: Drinking water, dogs, bags to pick up after your dogs, and towels to dry off your dogs, money for Ski Shores.
LOCATION (EMMA LONG PARK): 1600 City Park Rd.
Driving on 2222 west of 360 (Cap of Texas), go south on City Park Rd.
Meet in the Turkey Creek Hike parking lot, off the right side of City
Park Road, about 5 miles from the 2222 turn-off.
LOCATION (SKI SHORES): 3905 Pearce Rd. About 3.5+ miles from Emma Long
Park. Pearce is between 2222 and the park. From City Park Rd, take
Pearce to Green Shores Rd on the lake.
