25 years of Global Peace Dances in Gainesville
Men and women of all faiths are invited to participate in the Global Peace Dance sponsored by Dances of Universal Peace International. In a sacred and joyful candlelit atmosphere with live music, participatory singing and dancing bring the year to closure and welcome the new as we ring bells in the spirit of harmony and optimism. The simple circle dances will be taught by DiAnahita Kanoy and everyone joins in. This well-attended tradition has been held for over two decades in Gainesville, offering a vibration of peace rippling around the Globe, in unison with Dance circles throughout the world.
