Lindy Hop Swing Dancing Lessons and Social Dancing

Ongoing Thursdays, 7:30-10:30 pm. Gainesville Swing Dancing every Thursday evening from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM, you can find us at the Rosa B Williams Center. We kick off the night with a one-hour beginner lesson, followed by two hours of social dancing in a beautiful, air-conditioned hardwood dance hall. We cannot wait to hit the dance floor with all of you. No partner or experience needed. Parking: Free street parking is available in front of or beside the building, as well as in the nearby Friends of the Library lot. Admission: Free, donations encouraged via cash or Venmo. Swingin' Christmas Formal

Fri 9 Dec 2022, 9 pm. Merry Christmas. We are hosting a Christmas formal at Salsa Mundial on Friday, December 9th. We hope that everyone from the community down to students can come for this amazing event. There will be plenty of swing and Christmas tunes to dance the night away to. Also, lots of food and drink. Please bring something to contribute if you feel inclined. This event does not require a partner and it is open to everyone. Students, non-students, and community members wanted.
