Ya’ara is an attractive and independent 24 year-old who has just begun her PhD at Princeton University. She is also blind. Learning of the suicide of her cousin and best friend Talia, she rushes home to Israel. Talia was always the one who believed and led Ya'ara to believe, that in spite of her blindness, Ya'ara could see everything. Puzzled by Talia’s suicide Ya’ara decides to investigate and discovers Talia’s diary. During the process of uncovering the many lies, secrets, and gaps in Talia’s life, Ya'ara jeopardizes her relationship with her father, and Talia's family. Out of Sight is a powerful and intriguing, psychological mystery that also deals with real life issues of trust and expectations.
