The film provides a penetrating first-hand account of the fateful battle of Latrun, fought during Israel's 1948 War of Independence, and offers telling insights into the divisive and prevailing myths spawned by the battles. Through the lens of the story of Latrun, the film also provides a deeper understanding of the power and influence of myth in Israel, and its impact not only on the collective memeory of the people, but on the country's ability and willingness to forge true peace with it's neighbors.
