Sat 5 May, 10 am-1 pm. Various Ann Arbor parks, Ann Arbor, 48105. Outreach Coordinator, 734.996.3266. Natural Area Preservation Division - [email][events]
Don't forget about the BBQ. Join NAP as we combat invasive garlic mustard in our natural areas citywide. This year we're offering even more parks. Help us keep this pervasive invasive in check. We can't do it without you. Keep track of how many bags of garlic mustard you pull and whoever pulls the most in the city gets a prize (to be awarded at the barbeque, at the Island Park Pavilion). Please wear pants and closed-toe shoes. Minors must either be accompanied by a guardian or contact NAP in advance to obtain a release form. Choose from these locations to pull garlic mustard: Bird Hills Nature Area - Meet at the park entrance on Bird Road, west of Huron River Drive. Cedar Bend Nature Area - Meet at the Island Park parking lot at the end of Island Drive. T
