Giclee, Goache and Acrylics by Chanan Mazal American-born Chanan Mazal immigrated to Israel, became religiously observant and began to create art that expresses the rich culture, tumultuous history and timeless religious literature of the Jewish people. Believing that Jewish art must reveal more meaningful layers of our tradition, he carefully chooses his imagery to create a visual commentary that can hopefully strengthen the viewer’s connection with Jewish heritage. “I hope to offer you, the viewer, both visual pleasure – and a little taste of what I find so beautiful in our Torah and traditions. I hope to convey the richness of our history, the uniqueness of the Land of Israel, and my unabashed commitment to Zionism.” Meet the Artists Reception, Sunday,
