If we convene around 2:00, we should be able to enjoy the Mass Kite Ascent that occurs after the contest. You can bring the kids, a picnic (no glass.), and dogs on leashes and in T-shirts. Inline skaters rejoice, this one's for you. You do share the Veloway with bicyclists, but joggers and cars are not allowed on this 3.1 mile paved loop through Austin's hill country. You can also take the short loop (about 1 mile) while staying close to the group. The course includes a couple of modest declines, one steep incline and a couple modest inclines.
