Georgetown Hike & Dinner

Exercise your legs & lungs on an easy hike in a nearby scenic Georgetown park. The hike will be about 4 miles round trip with two bathrooms, one at the beginning and one in the middle, both with drinking water. WHAT to BRING: Plenty of water and maybe even some snacks as there are places to stop and chill if needed. Location: Hike starts at the San Gabriel River trail, Goodwater loop in Overton Park just next to the Cedar Breaks park entrance. Directions: + I-35 North exit 261-A, Williams Drive, 2338. + Left towards Andice and Sun City. + Left on DB Woods -- There is an HEB at that corner. + Right on Lake Overton Dr. + Follow to trailhead at the top of the road.
