This program will explore styles and strategies of examination and argument as well as the nuts and bolts of courtroom practice in both systems, including the qualifications and roles of judges and jurors, the competency and eligibility of witnesses, the sufficiency of proof, styles of cross-examination and impeachment, the presentation of argument and rules pertaining to verdict.
