Workshop — June 10th, 2010 A full day workshop for Educators at the Museum 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Kosher lunch included When studying about the Holocaust, “Why the Jews?” is a question often asked by students. Topics addressed in this workshop by museum staff are: a) A history of antisemitism throughout the ages and an analysis as to how it metastasized into the unique combination that was Nazi antisemitism; b) Who are the Jews who later become the six million victims and where and how do they live? (Includes a personal testimony from a Holocaust Survivor); c) Overview to Jewish beliefs customs and rituals (presented by a Rabbi); and d) Impact and meaning of the Holocaust for Jewish People today.
