No Generation of Silence: American Jews and the Memory of the Holocaust, 1945–1962" a talk by Hasia Diner, Thursday, February 3, 7:00 pm at Hillel. Paul and Sylvia Steinberg Professor of American Jewish History at New York University. Professor Diner is the author of numerous books in the field of American Jewish history, American immigration history and the history of American women. Her most recent book, We Remember with Reverence and Love: American Jews and the Myth of Silence After the Holocaust, won the 2010 National Jewish Book Award. She was awarded a Guggenheim fellowship for the academic year 2010–2011.
