Fri 3 Jun, 6:30-7:30 pm. Improve your ballroom dance skills with U.S. Open Champion, Dr. Caroline (Kay) Picart. Intermediate to Advanced Ballroom Cha Cha from 6:30-7:30. Classes focus on technique, styling and skills. You do not need to know this dance, but you do need to know how to dance. The class is for multiple levels at the same time. This is intended to be a small class with personal feedback from Kay to help each person with what they need to improve. Cha Cha will also be on 6/10 and Waltz on 6/17 and 6/24. This class is guaranteed to get you comfortable social dancing and prepare you for any type of social dancing you would like to get into. This is for novice dancers and goea at the slowest and easiest possible pace. If you have friends you have wanted to get dancing, take them to this class. Lindy is the mother of all swing dances, the simplest, most varied and most versatile. When you know Lindy, you can expand your repetoire and dance to any swing music on any size floor, no matter how crowded. Hustle is from the Disco of the 1970s, with a heart pounding (not loud, but steady) beat that keeps you in constant motion. Guaranteed to get your endorphins flowing, keep you smiling and build up your stamina. Possibly the most exhilirating of social dances.
