Sun 11 Sep. That’s All Folks. (May 22 – September 11) is an exhibition and film series showcasing Mel Blanc, the voice of carrot-chomping Bugs Bunny. Blanc grew up in South Portland, but lived most of his life in Los Angeles, where he became one of the most famous voice actors in American cinema. Among the themes in the exhibition will be Blanc’s extraordinary influence as one of the first professional voice artists, leading visitors to a deeper understanding of the art of animation. 310 NW Davis Street, Portland, 97209. Sun 11 Sep. Transformations. Since the 1920s, the game of mah jongg has ignited the popular imagination with its beautiful tiles, mythical origins, and communal spirit.
