Sun 1 Apr, 12-9 pm. Come out for a fantastic weekend of dancing at the Gainesville Dance Festival. 14 different dance sessions, 24 hours of dancing. Most sessions have a lesson for newcomers. Everyone welcome. No experience and no partner needed. Friday night Tango from 8 pm to midnight. Saturday 2 to midnight, variety of social dances: English country, waltz, zydeco, west coast swing, blues. Sunday noon to 9 pm folk and social dancing: capoeira, Zumba, samba, fun folk dance mixers, ballroom dancing, lindy swing, Sacred Groove.
