Alan Luxenberg, Foreign Policy Research Institute Thursday, Sep 15, 7-8:30pm It has been said if that we rethink the past, we may be able to re-imagine the future. We will explore the roots of the Israel-Palestine conflict, review the history of the two-state solution, and offer reflections on what is needed to bridge the gap between the two sides. Alan Luxenberg is Acting President of Philadelphia's Foreign Policy Research Institute and director of its Wachman Center, a program designed to foster civic and international literacy in the community and in the
classroom. He is author of two books for middle and secondary school students -- "The Palestine Mandate and the Creation of Israel" and "Radical Islam."
