Saturday, November 12, 2011 | 07:30 PM to 10:00 PM Coming all the way from Jerusalem to kick off the Global Day of Learning, Yisrael Campbell is a comedian who grew up Catholic in the Philadelphia suburbs and converted to Judaism-- three times. First he studied with a Reform rabbi, then became Conservative, and now he is Orthodox. And every conversion, you guessed it, required a circumcision. The film tells the fascinating story of Campbellā€™s spiritual journey from teenage drug addict and alcoholic to orthodox Jewish comedian through clips of old standup comedy routines. Afterwards, Yisrael will do some new live standup and take questions from the audience. $18 in advance; $25 at the door Time: 07:30 PM to 10:00 PM Expected Attendance:400 Location: Gratz
