English Country Dancing at Harn Museum Nights

Enjoy art, activities, poetry and musical performances from across the globe. Activities include:

Screening of short films "Timmy II" and "Prom" followed by Q&A with Filmmaker and Actor Imran J Khan, on Muslim identity in the US

English Country Dancers – performance and audience participation

Ameena Khan “Just a Peek, Please?” display of paintings.

Oak Hall "Tsubasa" Taiko drumming group performance

Digital display of Global Photo contest winners from the UF International Center.

Participating organizations include International Scholars Program; Peace Corps at UF; Graduate Student Organization of Photography; Center for Global Islamic Studies; ISSB-International Students Speakers Bureau

Readings by winners of the Harn’s Words on Canvas art writing competition

Also, this evening will host the closing reception for the Survivors of Violence art display, presented in recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. A partnership with the Alachua County Victim Services and Rape Crisis Center, Civic Media Center and Wild Iris Books
