Ongoing Thursdays, 7:30-10:30 pm. Gainesville Swing Dancing every Thursday evening from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM, you can find us at the Rosa B Williams Center. We kick off the night with a one-hour beginner lesson, followed by two hours of social dancing in a beautiful, air-conditioned hardwood dance hall.
We cannot wait to hit the dance floor with all of you.
No partner or experience needed.
Parking:
Free street parking is available in front of or beside the building, as well as in the nearby Friends of the Library lot.
Admission:
Free, donations encouraged via cash or Venmo.

Sat 11 Jun 2016. 12:30 to 3:30 Workshop. 9:30 to Midnight Social Dance.
Gainesville is hosting a Balboa workshop. Brennan DeVoe will be teaching a one day intensive workshop to bring you from the ground up with your Balboa.
The workshop will be in the basement dance studio of the Reitz Union. There will be three hours of lessons with ten minute breaks in between.
After the workshop, make sure to head to our evening dance to show off your new moves. It will be held downtown at Persona Vintage Clothing & Costumes, at 201 SE 2nd Pl from 9:30 pm to midnight. Parking is available in the GRU parking lot nearby.
The total price for the workshop and evening dance will be $15 cash at the door. Housing will be available for any out-of-town dancers wishing to attend. Please contact Alex Haley if you would like to be housed.
