Lindy Hop Swing Dancing Lessons and Social Dancing

Ongoing Thursdays, 7:30-10:30 pm. Gainesville Swing Dancing every Thursday evening from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM, you can find us at the Rosa B Williams Center. We kick off the night with a one-hour beginner lesson, followed by two hours of social dancing in a beautiful, air-conditioned hardwood dance hall. We cannot wait to hit the dance floor with all of you. No partner or experience needed. Parking: Free street parking is available in front of or beside the building, as well as in the nearby Friends of the Library lot. Admission: Free, donations encouraged via cash or Venmo. Swing Summer Bootcamp Featuring the Harlequin Jazz Band

Fri 8 Jul to Sun 10 Jul 2016, 8:15 pm-12 am. Free lesson from 8-9 pm followed by open dancing. All ages welcome. No partner necessary. Please wear comfortable shoes and bring a Save the date It is time for our summer workshop. We have two days of lessons, social dances with The Harlequin Jazz Band on Saturday, and some thrilling activities all for the price of $15! The price breakdwon is $5 for a pass to all the lessons and $10 for entry into the saturday dance. This workshop is aimed at giving a jumpstart to those of you who either have started dancing recently and want to get on the fast track to being an awesome dancer. If you're a first time dancer or have been dancing for a couple of years you will find soemthing for you. Times and locations are tentative so check back here in the days leading up to the event.
