Ongoing Thursdays, 7:30-10:30 pm. Gainesville Swing Dancing every Thursday evening from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM, you can find us at the Rosa B Williams Center. We kick off the night with a one-hour beginner lesson, followed by two hours of social dancing in a beautiful, air-conditioned hardwood dance hall.
We cannot wait to hit the dance floor with all of you.
No partner or experience needed.
Parking:
Free street parking is available in front of or beside the building, as well as in the nearby Friends of the Library lot.
Admission:
Free, donations encouraged via cash or Venmo.

Thu 23 Feb 2017, 10 pm-2:30 am. Who is ready to dance the night away while adding a little two-step to our baisc rock-steps and triple-steps.
Well a few of us from the swing club are going to be going out to Eight-Seconds Country Nightclub for their Grand Re-Opening.
Come out at 10pm for Eight-Seconds line dancing lesson and then stick around afterward for some of Gainesville's best boot-scootin'-boogie music in town. If you are not familiar with Eight Seconds they dance a mix of choreographed line dances, similar to the Tranky-Doo or Shim-Sham, and some partnered country swing.
There is a $5 cover for 21+ and $7 for under 21 but worth it for the best hoe-down in all of Gainesville.
