Sat 27 Jan, 8 am-2 pm. This class is designed for beginner and intermediate beekeepers. This is the first of a series of workshops that will help you manage the needs of the hive throughout the year. After the smoker demonstration your clothes may have absorbed the smell.

The topics and activities to be covered include:

· Water quality and media selections
· How to mix your own fertilizer
· Understanding the role of pH in your water
· Monitoring and adjusting nutrient solutions
· How injectors work
· Hands-on lab sessions
· Equipment and meters
