Thu 21 Feb, 7-10 pm. Doors open at 6:30. Contra dance in open-air dance barn on Lake Santa Fe with The Stringrays. One night only.
A three-hour contradance driven by the great tunes and the talent of the fabulous Stringrays. The Stringrays are visiting from New England for the Dancing with the Gods Weekend Feb 22-23-24. This is a bonus dance (not part of weekend pass) before the dance weekend.
The Stringrays are Rodney Miller, Max Newman, Stuart Kenney, Sam Bartlett, and Mark Hellenberg
Callers Angela DeCarlis and JoLaine Jones-Pokorney. This is a gender neutral dance. All are welcome.
$10 - $25 sliding scale. This is a fundraiser for the Gainesville Oldtime Dance Society and is Nnot included in the Dancing with the Gods weekend pass. No charge for spectators, bring a lawn chair.
