Harriet Lynn will reprise her role as the title character in Ella Gutman Hutzler Returns to Baltimore, as she brings the past to life with a lively slide presentation about the Jewish-owned department stores that once lined Howard and Lexington Streets. As the wife and daughter of prominent department store owners, Mrs. Hutzler shares her unique vantage point on these grand emporiums. This living history performance, developed by the JMM, will be performed by Harriet Lynn of Heritage Theater Artists' Consortium. This event is free. Reservations are strongly suggested. Exhibition Opening: Voices of Lombard Street : A Century of Change in East Baltimore Join us for this landmark exhibition opening that interprets the history of East Baltimore 's Jewish community. As it traces the neighborhood's evolution from 1900 to today, the exhibition will chronicle Jewish life and show how the experiences of Jews and other residents intersected, overlapped and diverged. As part of the festivities costumed interpreters will interact with visitors providing first-person narration on what it was like to live as a newcomer in East Baltimore. Additionally, visitors will be able to make related art projects, eat delicatessen foods, and dance to period music. The opening reception is free to the public. Berger Immigrant's Trunk: Saul Bernstein . During the weekend, visitors can also enjoy performances at other historic sites, only minutes from the JMM, including the Carroll Mansion, the Flag House and Star-Spangled Banner Museum, and the Reginald F. Many chose "Gush Katif" in the Gaza Strip as their new home. To progress the peace process, the Israeli government ordered the evacuation of the Gaza Strip on August 2005.s decision created political and social turmoil. The evacuation was to be the most complex and sensitive mission ever to be undertaken by the police forces. This movie is about emotions, beliefs, conscience and true brotherly love. It is a story of humanity in its finest hour. The film's executive producer, Mickey Rabinowitz will be on hand to introduce the film and offer remarks.
