Exhibition Opening: Voices of Lombard Street : A Century of Change in East Baltimore Join us for this landmark exhibition opening that interprets the history of East Baltimore 's Jewish community. As it traces the neighborhood's evolution from 1900 to today, the exhibition will chronicle Jewish life and show how the experiences of Jews and other residents intersected, overlapped and diverged. As part of the festivities costumed interpreters will interact with visitors providing first-person narration on what it was like to live as a newcomer in East Baltimore. Additionally, visitors will be able to make related art projects, eat delicatessen foods, and dance to period music. The opening reception is free to the public. For more information, contact 410.73
