A Nostalgic Look at the Ads of WWII Mark Foynes, Wright Museum Director By 1941, Coke was bottled in 44 countries. With the entry of the U.S. into the war, Coke built an additional 64 plants to ensure that American servicemen could have a little taste of home. This illustrated slide show will explore how Coke’s advertising helped position the company as one of the preeminent backers of the war effort.
