This presentation explores the challenges faced by the Post Office Department in getting mail to servicemen throughout the world under wartime conditions and reviews the many roles the Post Office was involved in to support the war effort. Examples of stamps issued by the US and other Allied and Axis countries to support the war effort of their respective countries will be shown
