Blueberries for All

Thu 1 Feb, 6:30-7:30 pm. Alachua County is one of the top blueberry producing counties in the state. You can easily grow rabbit eye blueberries in your landscape. Frank Annual Conference

Tue 6 Feb to Fri 9 Feb. We are using human-centered design and the best of what science teaches us about behavior, learning and ideation to create a frank experience that will change you. Changeville 2018 Music and Arts Festival

Thu 8 Feb to Fri 9 Feb. The Changeville Music & Arts Festival is a space for artists doing good in the world to come together with the Gainesville community and create a new vision for what our world can look like. Every musician and comedian that plays Changeville, every VR experience or film that we showcase, is chosen because of its connection to social change. Held downtown at venues including the Atlantic, Bo Diddley Plaza, Bull, Civic Media Center, High Dive, Hippodrome, Midnight and Wooly. Registration for Changeville 2018 will be at Hampton Inn & Suites in Downtown Gainesville on Thursday February 8 from 3-9 pm and Friday February 9 from 2-8 pm. This is where you will pick up your Multivenue Pass Wristband. If you bought a single show ticket, you will get your show wristband at that venue. Limited Commercias Landscape Manitenance Workshop

Thu 22 Feb, 8 am-5 pm. The Limited Commercial Landscape Maintenance Workshop trains commercial landscape maintenance personnel to make correct pesticide applications to ornamentals and plant beds only. Attendance to the full day is required before sitting for the license’s exam. To apply for this exam, visit https://aesecomm.freshfromflorida.com. Click on pest control and then limited licenses. You can pay online and then you will be given a voucher number. Please bring the printed receipt and voucher number the day of the class. Up to six (6) CEUs will be available in the following categories: 3 General Standard/Core (Chapters 482 and 487), 3 Ornamental & Turf, 3 Limited Lawn and Ornamental, 3 Limited Landscape Maintenance, 3 Commercial Lawn and Ornamental. Green Industries Best Management Practices

Tue 27 Feb, 8:15 am-4 pm. Florida law states that all commercial fertilizer applicators must have a certificate from FDACS. To get this certificate, each commercial applicator must be trained in the GI-BMPs and receive a certificate of completion from UF/IFAS and FDEP. CEUs will be available.
