As studies demonstrate, nearly one in four Americans have had their identity stolen.
Experienced law enforcement personnel from the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office will discuss the various faces of identity theft and what attorneys need to know if a client falls victim to this or a related economic crime. District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman, Deputy District Attorney Steven Latzer and County Detective Michael Gilbert will each provide their unique perspectives on the topic while explaining how identity theft and related criminal offenses are committed, investigated and prosecuted.
