Applebaum-Driker Theater Pianolist Bob Berkman brings old musical favorites and unknown klezmer compositions to life, sharing his collection of rare piano rolls in Klezmerola. With a “portable” player piano positioned in front of our baby grand piano, songs by Gershwin, Yiddish theater hits and devotional music offer a glimpse into a time when the player piano was the prime source of home entertainment.
