The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) is a grant-funded program hosted by the University of California, Santa Barbara Extension. A grant from the Osher Foundation enables UCSB Extension to provide those who are 50 and above with affordable, university-quality, educational experiences. The courses are created to bring out into the community the very best of UCSB in a way that engages the intellectual needs of the mature learner without burdening students with prerequisites, tests, or grades. OLLI has only one condition: students are expected to arrive in class with a genuine desire to learn.
