San Diego, CA 92130Kehillat Ahavat Yisrael was established by a small group of people who felt a deep need to come together to form something not previously available in San Diego. From our first service, the growth of the kehilla has exceeded our greatest expectations. In eight months we've grown purely through word of mouth to a community of several dozen families. Though we welcome everybody, we do not "solicit" people to join us, particularly members of other congregations. The large majority of our families were not previously affiliated or significantly involved in a synagogue.
